Konstrukcje wartościujące we współczesnym języku polskim/angielskim

Projekt oparty jest na założeniach teorii gramatyki konstrukcji stworzonej i rozwijanej przez takich badaczy jak Ch. Fillmore, G. Lakoff, A. Goldberg, W. Croft i in.. Teoria ta zakłada, że każdy język naturalny można opisać w formie sieci konstrukcji gramatycznych rozumianych jako jednostki symboliczne łączące określoną formę językową ze znaczeniem i/lub funkcją. W oparciu o dane korpusowe, doktorant dokona próby sformułowania najważniejszych syntaktycznych i semantyczno-funkcjonalnych własności wybranych konstrukcji wartościujących, np. konstrukcji kopulatywnych lub wykrzyknikowych, oraz ewentualne związki z innymi konstrukcjami w zakresie języka, którego dotyczyły będą badania.

 

Evaluative constructions in modern Polish/English

The project is based on the theory of grammatical constructions as formulated by Ch. Fillmore, G. Lakoff, A. Goldberg, W. Croft and other cognitive linguists. The theory claims that each language can be exhaustively described in terms a network of grammatical constructions defined as symbolic units linking linguistic forms with their meaning and/function. The researcher will be expected to establish the most important syntactic as well as semantic and functional properties of the selected evaluative constructions as well as their links with other constructions of the language under investigation.
